Previously, I built backend systems for Immigrant Buddies using AWS serverless and co-created Armada, an open-source tool to simplify the deployment of development environments.

- Spearheaded the containerization of the Next.js 15 measure.team app using Docker, deployed ECS services for scalability, configured health checks and Target groups for reliability, and designed a VPC with public subnets, an ALB, NAT Gateway, private subnets, and RDS instance.
- Migrated from Vercel to AWS to resolve cold-start issues, upgraded from Next.js 13 to Next.js 15, addressing breaking changes, and refactored API routes.

- Actively participated in a remote, cross-functional team of frontend, backend developers, and designers, following agile methodologies and using tools such as Jira for tickets and Confluence for documentation.
- Implemented AWS Cognito for secure authentication and authorization, integrating custom Lambda triggers to optimize critical user flows including registration, sign-in, and password recovery processes.
